Freefall Chaincounter

All the AutoAnchor series chaincounters will count accurately with a free fall windlass. The automatic preset stop function on the AA500 series products (AA500C, AA550 and AA560) and the AA710 will not operate with a free fall windlass.

AutoAnchor Plug & Play Sensor

Correct sensor installation is fundamental to rode counter operation. To ensure the best possible sensor installation, the AutoAnchor plug and play sensor comes with prefitted waterproof connectors. The plug and play sensor removes the need for soldering.

 New wiring diagrams for AutoAnchor Products

AutoAnchor has recently updated its wiring diagrams for its products. These new diagrams are easier to follow and reduced in number. A single wiring diagram now shows installation for 2, 3 or 4 terminal motors plus dual installation of AutoAnchor products. Customer response to these new diagrams have been excellent. These are now available online on our Product Manuals page. 

AutoAnchor is currently working on a new look for our product manuals. Instead of the previous Operation and Installation Manual, there will be an Owner's Manual and a Quick User Guide for our AA560 and AA710 products. We expect these to be distributed with our products by the beginning of 2009.

Release of AutoAnchor's newest family member, the AA710

AutoAnchor is proud to announce the release of AA710, a wireless remote controller for windlasses and thrusters. 

The AA710 has all the original features including a safety lock, an alarm and automatic anchor release and retrieval. In addition, it incorporates the option of thruster control and the use of decklights and deckwash from the remote controller itself. Installation is made easier as the wireless control removes the need to run wires from the windlass to the helm station.

The ergonomically designed hand held remote can be operated from almost anywhere on the boat giving great flexibility. The AA710 rubber overmoulding gives extra grip and non-slip protection and comes with a cradle and protective cover for storage. 

This product is already proving very popular with the first production run completely sold out.
